How did you get started acting?
I started writing plays in fifth grade, and my teacher would let us rehearse. I directed and usually starred in the shows. Then did theatre in high school, earned a BFA in Theatre Production and Performance, and began performing as a cast member of Austin's Premiere Sketch Comedy Theatre, Esther's Follies, during my senior year. Since then I've worked in film, television, and radio. I guess it's just what I always knew I wanted to do.
How did you first get involved in Hard-ish Bodies?
Mike and I did a musical improv show together. I guess he liked my style, because he asked me to play the leading lady in the film.
How has it’s message about body positivity affected you?
It's so important! I'm a firm believer in doing you - whatever shape you might be. The body is beautiful, and I like watching men wiggle around.
What do you think about crowdfunding on Seed&Spark so far? Best parts? Worst parts?
I'm so new to it. So far so good!
When do you feel your sexiest?
When I'm listening to female pop singers from the 60's. Dusty Springfield, Petula Clark, Dionne Warwick - they all make me feel very sexy and feminine.
If your character could give you life advice, what would they say?
Take life by the balls and fall in love for fun.
